Cocktail of the Month
April means watermelon and springtime! Enjoy the month with a Watermelon Martini.
--1 cup watermelon juice
--1/2 cup (4 oz) Vodka
--1/4 cup simple syrup (sugar)
-- juice of 1 lime
--3 tablespoons salt (optional)
--3 tablespoons sugar (optional)
--ice
--Watermelon slices, for garnish (optional)
Pour watermelon juice, vodka, simple syrup and lime juice in a cocktail shaker. Shake well. Strain into martini glass.
Mix together salt and sugar, wet rim of glass and dip the top of the glass into the mixture.
Garnish with watermelon slices. Enjoy!
